Redding Women’s Circle

What is Women's Circle?

Women’s Circle is an intentional pause in the rhythm of life—a space to return to yourself in the company of others. We sing, move, make art, journal, and reflect— each practice offering a doorway into deeper presence and meaningful community. Each month we gather and reflect together on a topic, listen to each other's stories, and inquire deeply within ourselves. I like to think of this space as being equal parts silly and sacred - there is room for it all.

When you attend Circle, I ask that you stay curious, compassionate, and respectful. One of the greatest gifts of Women’s Circle is that it allows us to see one another fully and sometimes that can be uncomfortable. Each woman brings her own story and life experience to our gatherings. Both our similarities and differences are what make this work so important.

All activities and prompts in Circle are optional. Please trust your inner guidance about what’s right for you in each moment. You’re also encouraged to explore your edges here — this is a supportive space for growth and courageous self-inquiry.

This circle is open to all who feel resonance with a feminine or femme-centered experience, including women and non-binary people. Rooted in women’s stories and the tradition of sisterhood, we gather for connection, strength, and shared wisdom. LGBTQIA+ affirming.

What to Bring to Circle

Please bring a journal, pen/pencil, water, and a snack for yourself if you think you may get hungry. We will be seated on the ground so if you’d like to bring a meditation cushion, please do. There are also cushions, mats, and blankets available at the studio.

Our next circle is on February 28th 6:00-8:30 pm at Simply Rooted in Downtown Redding.
