Whether you consider yourself a singer or not - Community Song Circle welcomes you. All the songs are taught in a call and response or follow along style - no requirement to read music. We are gathering to enjoy the act of singing, expression, and play. 

During our time together you will be taught a small handful of short, simple songs. We’ll explore different styles and dynamics of group singing including very light vocal theory, song structure, blending and listening, and breathing techniques. The educational components are simply to feed your own curiosity and stretch new muscles. There is zero expectation that you try to sing in a specific or different way than is natural for your voice. Our focus is on being together and using our voices in ways that feel fun. 

Please bring a water bottle. We'll be seated on the ground and there are cushions available for use in the space. If there is anything more you’d like to be comfortable, please feel free to bring it along. There is also a couch we can pull out if sitting on the ground isn’t accessible for you.  

This event is open to all genders and is for adults only.
